Sunderland Hall

Type: River Ribble, single bank. Map: Link Availability: All members. Disabled Access: Poor as the banks are mostly steep. Species: Game and coarse. Grid Reference of Main Access Point: SD 627336 Grid Reference of Upstream Limit: SD 629337 Grid Reference of Downstream Limit: SD 622329 Car Parking: A fenced and marked RADAC car park on the right as you come to the Hall farm. General Description: From Dobridding Wood 200 yards upstream of the Hall, downstream on the left bank for 1.5 kilometres miles to Jackson’s Bank Wood. Access Arrangements: From the Bay Horse Inn on the A59 at Osbaldeston, go down the lane by the Inn and left at the junction. Take the next right and drive through Balderstone to the 90 degree left hand bend at Lane Ends (one and a quarter miles). Take the lane on the right and drive three quarter of a mile through Nightfield Gate and along Nightfield Lane to Sunderland Hall. RADAC members who are also Prince Albert members may wish to note that the PAAS do not allow their members to cross from this  RADAC water to their adjacent water. Restrictions: This is a working industrial site with appropriate security measures therefore there are restrictions on when you may come and go from this water. If you are fishing a day session you may not arrive at the car park before 6 a.m. and you must leave the car park before 11 p.m. If you are fishing a night session you must arrive at the car park before 11 p.m. then leave your car and not return to it until 6 a.m. the following morning. In summary you may not move your vehicle at this water between 11 a.m. and 6 a.m.
